How it's made

LIL QUEEN - time

The song "Time" tells the story of a breakup between two partners. The video’s director, Kolyaolya, uses her signature style of straightforward storytelling, blended with meaningful references embedded in the concept—acidic flashbacks.

Lil Queen is instantly recognizable by his 5mm pink haircut and contrasting accessories.

You’ve got a tarantula on your face!!!

Lil Queen love spiders, and honestly, when the scariest, furriest tarantula landed on his face, everyone was in shock. But he calmly started his rap part of the lip-sync, the camera rolled, and this take not even need an “Action” call. After that, I think I’ve grown a bit fond of them too—they’re such humble creatures.

Bloopers

"Shooting a music video always means creating unique scenes where unexpected fails—or bloopers—happen. Our set designer made small cuts in the veil so it would tear easily during the shot, but the fabric was way stronger than expected... At least we got an epic blooper! This is pure gold for warming up the audience on social media! Have you seen the views on FailArmy? Even Doja Cat would be jealous!"

Behind the scenes Content

Alongside the main video, we planned several vertical-format behind-the-scenes videos as usual. The first reel focused on the concept, aiming to introduce the idea to the audience while keeping the storyline largely under wraps. This reel was designed to engage the audience prior to the main video release, featuring POV footage of the team setting up the set along with glimpses of some of the looks. The second reel, centered on SpaceX, is scheduled to release after the main video, directing the audience toward the main clip. This strategy is almost cost-free yet achieves a 611% increase in efficiency.

In the middle of Joshua Tree during location scouting, we stumbled upon something incredibly cool. Among the cacti, right on the sand, there were fortifications made of concrete blocks, freshly painted black. We figured it was either a shelter for animals altruistically built by a generous donor or an unfinished camp. All around were only thorns, sand, and rocks. No sign, no marker on Google Maps. We took a few photos, considered possible angles, added it to our list, and left.

On the day of the shoot, we started at this location. We set up a sunshade, a makeup station, and the artist began getting his makeup done. The lighting team was setting up C-stands, and Phil was prepping the camera when a woman in regular clothes arrived from the road. She told us this was a private Art installation - High desert Test Sites and required a permit for filming. The producer tried to negotiate, but she politely, even with a smile, asked us to pack up and leave. We quickly loaded everything into the cars and moved to the cover set.

Always request a cover set from the scout a backup location that can be used if the primary location becomes unavailable for any reason, such as unforeseen circumstances. Having a cover set ensures a smooth filming process and minimizes potential delays.

Fleet ground

But the all content for a clothing brand doesn’t have to be fancy with pricey models or exotic locations. The real key is consistency! But make sure you stick to your brand guidelines to keep your identity strong. For Fleet Ground, it’s all about that grunge, carefree feel—where anyone passing by can grab what catches their eye.
